Sony Ericsson X10 Mini ProLast Thursday it was officially announced that the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro is now available through Vodafone. This information comes directly from the Vodafone Australia Blog.

Appearance wise, the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro is very much like its bigger brother, the Xperia X10, but in a much smaller form factor. It features a 2.5-inch touchscreen display (240 x 320), 600 MHz processor, 128 MB internal memory, 2 GB microSD card (upgradeable to 16 GB), slide-out qwerty keyboard and a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and video recording capabilities.

Pricing for the X10 Mini Pro starts on the $29 per month cap with $0 upfront for 24 months. The minimum cost over 24 months is $696. As a bonus Vodafone is offering 1 GB of data with the plan free each month for the first 12 months. The offer ends on 31 October 2010 but may be extended. The usual amount of data included with the plan is 50 MB per month.

I think the X10 Mini Pro will sell like hotcakes on the $29 per month cap especially with the bonus 1 GB of data free each month. Those who don’t like the X10 Mini Pro but would like something similar I suggest checking out the HTC Wildfire which has similar specifications minus the slide-out keyboard. It will be available through Telstra in August but pricing has not yet been announced but I suspect that it won’t be far off Vodafone’s pricing for the X10 Mini Pro.
