Dell StreakLast month Dell released details of the Streak, a 5-inch tablet running the Android operating system. Some may consider the tablet a big smartphone as it does support voice calling but it would probably look a little weird holding the somewhat bulky device to your ear. That being said though there are several Android phones currently on the market sporting 4.3-inch screens. Buyers of the Streak will probably opt to use it with a Bluetooth headset instead.

Dell is planning on expanding its tablet range with a 7-inch version of the Streak expected later this year. A 10-inch version of the tablet is likely to arrive sometime in 2011.

The 5-inch Streak is currently available for purchase across the UK through O2 and Carphone Warehouse. Dell has stated it plans to launch the tablet in the U.S. in the 3rd quarter this year. There is no word yet as to when the Streak will reach Australia.
